The Fak'ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival is around the corner. This festival is a great opportunity to meet with, hear from and engage with trailblazing creatives, their work, and the future of creativity. They have a jam packed programme that will keep you in the loop of all things connected to Africa’s culture and technology scene. It’s all happening in Braamfontein, Joburg’s Tshimologong Precinct with inaugural awards, its first Fak'uzine, an interactive Expo and a feast of digital creativity. Tickets for the festival are available via Howler and outline the curated experiences for each festival goer. Attendees will have exclusive access to world-class digital animation and XR exhibitions, plus a multitude of networking opportunities. 3-Day Passes offer ticket holders access to the Fak’ugesi Awards Closing Party on the 21st of October.
The #FromNowOn theme aims to showcase the creative climate of a new age after the positive (and negative effects) of the pandemic and how it has shaped our youth. The theme calls for a moment to pause and reflect on where we are today and takes a look into Africa’s digital future.
