Lee-Roy dropped Sad Nigga Hour 2

// SNH2 - A Raw & Honest Musical Experience //

Wassup fam. Hope you all good as we approach the end of August. It's been a week since Lee-Roy dropped his latest music, another deeply personal body of work. If you're familiar with the first Sad Nigga Hour - SNH, then you're not the only one who was like "someone broke his heart again!?". Yeah, such is life I guess. The artwork album is fire, and the listening session in Bloem was a great vibe - I can't believe I missed it (due to work, you know this freelancing stuff can throw hands quite often). Anyway, there's 3 ways you can listen to Sad Nigga Hour 2 - SNH2, according to me:

  1. You can just click on the image above / click here to listen to the album on your preferred streaming platform, or

  2. You can listen to the first Sad Nigga Hour and some of Lee-Roys joints, especially if you're new to his music before diving into SNH2, or

  3. You "must" watch the Listening Session first (if you have 2 hours to spare over a cup of coffee or tea) before listening to SNH2.

1 of my fave jams from the first SNH is "Love that I need" featuring Reba, so I was really curious to see how this one differs. SNH2 is definitely quite different, and I don't want to give away too much away but the rapper extraordinaire decided to flex his vocal chords. By the time I was on the 3rd track, I already new that I was gonna like SNH2 more than the first one. Fam, Lee-Roy and Stige Lebaka really left no stone unturned on "Enough". I think this is my fave track on the album, but my heart says "Should've known" with Lionelle is the one. They are definitely the combo that we didn't know we needed. The flow of the album is really great, making it something that you can journey through from the first to the last song. Lee-Roy sat down with KSet at the listening session to talk about the album, and he gave a lot of insights on the reasons behind the music, which will definitely make you appreciate the effort put into the album even more.

I think I've said enough for now, so it's time for you to watch The Experience 4.0 listening session by clicking the image below / clicking here. Trust me, it will be worth your time. Remember, SNH2 is AVAILABLE ON ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS!
