Wassup wassup fam. It's with great pleasure to inform you that we have just gone past the 50 article mark on our site. A big shout out to everyone that has subscribed to our site and those who have read and shared our articles, as well as participated in our initiatives. For this poetry update , we'll be sharing dope content as usual, and first on the line up is the poetry gig guide developed by World of Words Poetry Association. Now let's quickly move over to Zambia for a second, because Destro (The Friendly Neighborhood Poet) dropped the video to "Afro Kween" today, and the visuals are mad dope. The poem is definitely a fans favorite, so do check out the video below as he speaks about his African Queen and what she means to him. Shout out to Chawana Christlyk who shot and edited the video, as well as Tio Nason who directed the video organized the boi's drip. Don't forget to share, like and leave a comment fam.



Heading over to Zim, we have Page Poetry Alive who will be hosting another edition of their #IsolationStories which will take place on the 10th of July, so do make sure you like their Facebook page. They've got an amazing line up (some of the poets pictured below), so don't miss out on what the artists have to share from 3PM (CAT). Coming back to South Africa, we've been blessed with a number of great Facebook live interview sessions hosted by Emmah Mabye on her Facebook page (You can watch the previous #ARealTalk sessions here). To date she has featured a number of prominent poets and stakeholders in the creative and legal industry such as Lebo Mashile, Makhafula Vilakazi, Puno Selesho, Advocate Leisa Leisanyane, Shakirah Dramat and Siphokazi Jonas. You should definitely check them out, because there's a lot of great and useful content on each session that one can make use of for their own professional and creative development. Still on the topic of Emmah, she recently (as the poet) teamed up with Rabbie Wrote (as the editor) for the video "Q&A Sessions" which you can check out below, and don't forget to like, share and leave a comment.
