Verbal Alchemy Returns to Bloemfontein's Westdene After a Brief Hiatus
Wassup fam! After months of quiet anticipation, the poetry landscape of Bloemfontein is set to reignite. The Radioactive Poetry Cafe (RPC), the pulsing core of The Radioactive Blog, triumphantly returns to the stage, breaking our silence since October last year. On August 30th and September 27th, 2024, Black Sheep Cafe in Westdene will once again become ground zero for an explosion of poetic talent.
Prepare for a night where poets will split atoms of emotion, and musicians will harness the fallout into melodic waves. As per tradition, there will be an open mic before the featured artists grace the stage. The first event for the year will feature Kgosatsana Lethabo, Palesa Blossom, Hayla Hernandez, Thinkincap, Phumelele Fobozi and Tumi Riet. This new season brings about a change in our MC, as we will have Coldfire holding it down and continuing from where Ace Moloi left off - he really set the bar high, and we're excited to see how our next MCs will guide our audiences through our dynamic programs. A big thanks to all the poets, MCs, volunteers and audiences that have been with us on this journey

As it enters its 5th season with unwavering dedication, the brand remains committed to connecting communities through dynamic poetry experiences.
